We have been blessed with a beautiful warm but early spring. It is breath taking! I enjoyed shooting the spring blooms.
Spring photo walk #1
Wild mushrooms are perfect subjects. They pose for you as long as you need them to.
And this is the most amazing green blooming tree, I've ever seen right by the city administration building. However it's a beginning of the another photo walk.

Spring is in the air. I'm finally able to take pictures and it's a bliss! Magnolia tree is starting to bloom by my window and the larks are signing their love songs.
Streeeeech!!!
While enjoying my first spring walk, I noticed how amazing the sunset was. Wasn't it?
I couldn't finish a walk without a black&white shot...

Plants on the 4th street
4th Street walk...
Richmond has couple places where you still can find unique things, and to prove it to my friend I invited her to the Old Richmond area. They say South 4th street was the first street in this town. I guess this is the reason why they have a Fourth Street Fair every first weekend of October. I used to live in the middle of all this beauty. I loved to walk along the neighborhood streets, and to look into vintage windows.
You can find other views of this street at Jen's Blog - Visionary Endeavors
Her view of this place is much better, because I'm so much into details that I forget to get the important shots. However, I have more and I'll continue as soon as possible, until then adieu))

Hunter Wasp
Gathering wood for a fire I noticed this unusual couple. The hunter was not the big huge spider. This time his mortal enemy won the battle for survival - this kind of wasps hunts for spiders specifically. The wasp paralyzes the spider and drags him to its hole. The spider will fill one of 30 chambers and stay there fresh and paralyzed until the wasp babies decide to invite him for dinner. There can be up to 300 spiders in one hole and each may stay alive up to 4 months. This spider was trying to resist the winged enemy while grabbing the grass in vain attempt to avoid the doom.
I made two discoveries today. I've never seen those wasps in Indiana before, and I've never seen a spider bigger than a quarter. It was amazing!!

Bird's gorgeous penthouse
I went on a Photo-walk the other day and I found that the spring is in a hurry to give us the purple fog of red buds, the pink aromas of magnolias and many other gorgeous blooming trees. I love Indiana this time of year, nothing can compare to its spring and autumn beauty.
I was jealous of a little birdie who got a great house in the middle of this beauty so I bought me couple pink magnolias and a lot of other blooming trees to plant around my house))

Did you know about a holiday today?
March the 8th is a beautiful spring holiday celebrated in Russia. It is an International Woman’s Day. It started as a communist holiday and followed by witches festival the night after. Nowadays it turned into a special spring holiday bigger than the Valentine's Day or Mother's Day celebrated even at the strictest Christian churches. Men rush to buy flowers, wash dishes, clean houses and cook special dinners. Wives, mothers and even little girls giggle, blush, and also run around trying to look pretty for their knights in shining aprons)) I wish every woman to feel like a princess today! Happy Woman's Day!!! Happy Spring!!
